Some of the tools this site will offer will be reviews, worksheets and other informational documents. Many of these documents are designed to be printed and taken along with you to serve as handy reference material. In time, interactive features may be added, such as links and link exchange, guestbooks and a web-board/forum. This site will provide links to companies and other sites that I have found intersting and useful. Other pages I may provide links to may contain additional interesting information that you may choose to read or not read.
Due to spammers and other unethical practices by those who find pleasure in annoying others on the internet, there will most likely be no direct support via email. At no location in this site will my email be exposed. For those who wish to contact me, a form will probably be provided, or you could easily find my phone number and use that. If I'm not doing something else, I'd be more than happy to talk. In all honesty, I already am dealing with several thousand emails a day for various other business issues. Disney chat and email, as much as I enjoy it, is beneath the bottom of my priorities list.
Of course, this site willl offer unique content that will not be found anywhere else. We have access to vintage Disney footage and imagery. While this is not material coming by the authorization of Disney, these do come from home videos and photo collections. Some are current, while some show a Disney property of time that has gone by. All images used are either the property of Studio42 or have been granted usage licensing by Studio42. Studio42 will not display imagery collected from areas where video, filming or photography has been prohibited.
This site is also a marketing site for media transfer services because Studio42 offers media transfer services. We can transfer your home movies and pictures to various digital formats to be enjoyed in a format that should be significantly easier to use. Remember old 8mm film? I do, and I can turn those into DVD's for you. I can handle that and many other formats. 16mm film, 8mm film, Super8 film, film negatives, film and 35mm slides can be captured into the computer. Perhaps you have video tapes? I can handle VHS/VHS-C, S-VHS, Betamax, Video8 and Hi8 formats. Looking for digital? I can handle your MiniDV tapes, no problem! Perhaps you did your home movies on U-Matic SP(3/4" tape) or Betacam SP formats? Probablly not, but if you did, I can transfer those as well. All "Disney Transfers" are half off whatever the current rates are, provided I may retain a digital copy of that to show quality of work.
