Drive, drive, drive.... doesn't anyone network anymore?
This is a picture showing the CD-ROM drive and DVD drive on the secondary IDE interface. This also shows the SCSI DVD drive. You can also see the cross-bar that supports the case and makes it rigid and strong.
This picture shows the 3.5" devices. There are room for 6 devices, I currently have 4 installed. From thetop down, there is the SCSI ZIP Insider drive and the 3.5" 1.44MB floppy in the upper removable cage, then the two hard drives in the lower removable cage. The lower cage has an 80mm fan in the front of it to keep the hard drives nice and cool.
When the front of the case is opened, the drives look nice and neat, as shown in this picture. Normally the front door is left closed, providing a clean look to the entire enclosure.
From the top down, you can clearly see the following items:
- IDE CD-ROM
- DVD drive
- SCSI DVD-ROM drive.
The fourth 5.25" bay is currently empty.
- SCSI ZIP Insider
- 3.5" 1.44MB Floppy
Unseen are the hard drives.
